On the day of collection
You must:
- place all items together at the kerbside where your bin is normally collected
- only put out for collection the things you have booked with us - we won't take extra items away
- bag small items
- put your items out for 7.00am on the collection day, but please don't put them out the day before as this could lead to an unlicensed person taking them and possibly flytipping them
Please note that we cannot enter the home/property, and do not collect items from inside. This includes residents on the assist list.
Other options
It may be that this is not the best way to get rid of your large items. Also consider:
- Apply for a waste permit for household hazardous waste - we won't collect household hazardous waste
- Reusing furniture and household items
- Recycling centres (tips)
- Skip Hire Network (for information on hiring a skip)
These bulky collection prices are for domestic household properties only, please see our business waste collection information for details on commercial waste collections.
