Have your say on our draft Digital Strategy

Your opportunity to comment on our draft Digital Strategy 2023-2028.

Background

We're in the process of developing a new digital strategy which will support us, our partners and local businesses and communities in the best ways possible over the coming three to five years. The digital strategy sets out our digital goals around:

  • improving how people can access our services
  • expanding digital access across the county
  • providing new, efficient ways of working for our office staff

In our previous consultation on digital services, we gathered feedback from residents, local businesses, community groups, and partners about how we can improve our digital services, and your experience when you contact and work with us. We also worked with our staff to assess our current digital approach and vision for the future.

Findings from this initial work were summarised and were further reviewed through focus group sessions with members of the public, partners and particular interest groups in February and March this year.

What's happening now

We have now produced a draft Digital Strategy to cover 2023 to 2028. We're sharing this draft with you to give you a final opportunity to provide feedback on its contents. We are also reviewing the document with our teams.

What happens next

Any comments received will be considered and, where appropriate, the strategy will be updated before it is presented to our Cabinet for agreement in July 2023.

Once adopted, we will develop detailed action plans and involve our partners and members of the public where appropriate.
