The Durham Record
The Durham Record provides access to heritage related images that are also featured on a number of different sources. Hopefully, this makes it easier to start to search and may well lead people to other websites for related resources.
This information is the result of more than 10 years' work. Its name is from the original Durham Record, the first of a series of projects giving digital access to heritage resources. The resulting web pages now give worldwide access to resources previously only accessible by visiting specific museums, libraries and archives around County Durham
Please note: by entering the Durham Record you are agreeing to comply with copyright licensing regulations associated with this collection of digital images. The regulations state that your use of any image is for personal use only, and that you will not copy, publish or distribute the image in any way.
Most of the Durham Record images are now cared for by Durham County Record Office.
