Ticket and programme info

Lumiere is expected to attract tens of thousands of visitors to Durham. A free ticketing system will operate at the busiest times between 4.30pm and 7.30pm each night.

When and where can you get a ticket?

All tickets for the remaining nights of Lumiere have gone but you don't need a ticket to enjoy the festival.

Tickets are only necessary to access the central peninsula area of the city between 4.30pm and 7.30pm each evening.

So you can come later - the festival is open until 11.00pm, or visit some of the 26 of the 37 installations outside the ticketed area first.

Download the new Lumiere Durham app from the Lumiere website or buy a printed programme for £2 from any of the venues selling tickets for installation information and a handy map.
