October half term events

Ghastly Gargoyles Trail

Date: Thursday 24 October to Sunday 3 November
Time: Buy your trail sheet from the gift shop between 10am and 4pm.
Cost/bookings: £1 per trail sheet
Details: The Hardwick gargoyles are out and about in the park this half term. Spot them all and get a spooky sticker!

Spooky Science with Professor Onesmith

Date: Monday 28 October 
Time: 10.00am-11.00am, 11.30am- 12.20am and 1.30pm-2.30pm
Cost/bookings: £10 per child, children must be accompanied an adult.
Details: Professor Onesmith returns to the park this half term. Join him for some spooky science fun in our yurt. Ages five and above. Sessions last one hour and booking is essential by calling 03000 262899.

Frightful Family Crafts

Date: Tuesday 29 October
Time: 11.00am-3pm
Cost/bookings: £3 per child, children must be accompanied by an adult. No baking required, drop in on the day.
Details: Join us for some creepy craft fun in our education room. All materials provided and leave the mess for us to tidy up.

Woodland Trick or Treat

Date: Thursday 31 October
Time: 10.00am- 11.230am, 10.30am- 12.00pm, 1.00pm-2.30pm and 1.30pm- 3.00pm.
Cost/bookings: £6 per child, booking essential. Call 03000 262899
Details: Is it a trick? Is it a treat? You'd better be nimble on your feet. Find the woodland witch, solve her riddles and complete her challenge in this fun Halloween quest beneath the trees. Suitable for aged four and over.

Regular activities 

Love Exploring with our virtual reality dinosaur hunt

Every day. Free event. Download the Love Exploring app onto your smart phone and follow the map of the park to find the hidden creatures. Watch as the dinosaurs come to life through virtual reality and answer the questions before finding the next one on the trail. Five different dinosaurs are hidden around the park. Search for Love Exploring on Apple and Android devices and click on Hardwick Park as the location.
