Featherbed Tales

Anyone with a County Durham libraries account can now record themselves reading a beautifully illustrated story or short rhymes to share with their loved ones. Children can also read stories for a grandparent or other family member who hasn't seen them during lockdown.

Featherbed Tales - our brand new digital story sharing service

How to get started

Once you're happy with the results, you can share a link by email so that family members can enjoy the experience together from anywhere in the world. You don't need any special equipment, just a computer or device with a microphone. You can redo a page if you make a mistake.
