We have many years of experience of working with local businesses to support their workforce recruitment and development needs and of delivering local employment initiatives in partnership with DWP and Job Centre Plus supporting the unemployed into longer term, sustainable work.
Where we've helped
The Government's work programme
We're currently supporting the government's Work Programme and have thus far helped over 2,500 unemployed people through this scheme in terms of improving their employability. Around 1,000 of these people started work - 72% of them securing more permanent employment.
Kynren - hospitality training
We supported Eleven Arches, the company behind this major new event which came to Bishop Auckland in the summer, to put all of its 'front of house' Experience Team volunteers through an internationally recognised training scheme which was originally developed for the 2012 Olympic Games Makers.
120 of their volunteers gained a WorldHost certificate in the 'Principles of Customer Service'.
Auckland Castle Trust
We also helped employees from Auckland Castle Trust successfully achieve Level 2 in the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) Awards for Food Safety, Health and Safety, Emergency First Aid at Work and Defibrillator training.
