Market cleaning

We are responsible for keeping the local market grounds clean and free from litter.

The stall market areas throughout County Durham are cleaned a number of times during and after trading by our street cleaners to remove as much litter and refuse as possible.

At the start of the day we also supply market traders with a large cage to dispose of the litter and refuse, taking this away once market trading has finished.
