Support sessions for parents of children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND)
If your child has SEND and you would like information and advice about what is available to support their needs, then these sessions are for you.
You can speak to a Delivering Better Value SEND Case Worker and:
- get advice and guidance around the type of support your child may receive in their school/college
- find out about further services available to you and your child in your local area
- get advice about services available to your child's school/college
You do not need a diagnosis to attend, and sessions are drop-in, you do not need an appointment. We will see people on a first come, first served basis, for a maximum of 20 minutes.
If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan or is going through an Education, Health and Care assessment, please speak to your allocated SEND Caseworker direct as we are unable to give advice in these instances.
