Update on Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC)

We commenced building surveys in 2022 in line with relevant government guidance. Our estate includes a range of different building types including the operational estate for our workforce, community and commercial buildings.

Based on the surveys undertaken, we do not have any evidence to suggest there are any council buildings with Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC). We will continue to respond to the latest government guidance and keep the situation under review.

We are working with some of the academy trust schools affected in the county to support them based on their individual circumstances. The academy schools affected will be communicating directly with parents on these matters.
