TB is a potentially serious bacterial infection. It is spread when an infected person coughs or sneezes tiny droplets into the air and they are inhaled. It can be cured with the right treatment.
It can affect any part of the body, but mainly affects the lungs.
If you have Symptoms of Tuberculosis (TB), you should contact your GP.
