Dysphagia Awareness
Delivered in partnership with Nurse training2care this virtual session aims to increase your knowledge of dysphagia awareness.
It begins by explaining the process of swallowing identifying the stages involved. You will learn terminology and identify the different types of Dysphagia warning signs and triggers and how to manage Dysphagia.
This course is ideal for all Health and Social Care staff.
Learning method
The course is a virtual session over 2 hours, at the end of the session you will complete a short assessment to evidence the learning which will take you approximately 1 hour to complete.

By completing this course, you will gain an understanding of defensible documentation and the types of documents, which will develop and improve your skills in a health and social care setting.
