Non-Assessed Services review
We are reviewing the 'drop in' (commissioned non-assessed) advice and guidance services for adult and health services.
Background
We are conducting a review of adult and health services that people can access without a referral and these include basic advice or help for things such as sorting bills, finding accommodation, applying for Universal Credit or even carrying out small DIY jobs in their homes.
What we are doing
The review will help us to identify what services will be needed in the future, against what we currently offer and will be completed in Summer 2022. We are reviewing 29 contracts with other organisations that offer support to a wide range of people including:
- people aged 16 to 25
- people with complex needs
- teenage parents
- Gypsy Roma Travellers
- single, homeless people
- people who are elderly
- people with learning difficulties and disabilities
- people with a sensory impairment
- people with mental health issues
- people escaping domestic abuse
- people with autism
- people with substance misuse issues
We will talk to the organisations that offer these services for us as well as those who use them. Following this, we will continue to work with them to identify ways to improve future services.
Have your say
The closing date for comments was 31 March 2022.
What happens next
All feedback will be gathered to feed into the review in 2022.
