Des's Story (get moving)
Des is 89, and he lives in Fishburn on his own in a house. He has Alzheimer's disease, and following a knee replacement a few years ago he has now been told he that he needs his other knee replaced.

Des
At the start of lockdown Des would wheel his trolly around and now he can physically lift the trolly and turn around safely - he says this is a good work out for his arms. He says: 'My legs are no trouble to me at all - with all my health problems I should be in pain or not able to do what I do. Doing my little routines have kept me walking and actually I am more steady with my walking stick than before lockdown!'
