The Story at Mount Oswald collections and exhibitions

This project will transform access to and preservation of County Durham's written heritage. Our exhibition space has been developed based on the idea of a Record of a Lifetime covering how the county has changed over the years, community spirit through the ages, particular communities over time, the different ways people have earned a living throughout the years County Durham's relationship with the rest of the world and a fresh perspective on the county's achievements and shout about some of the unknown and aspirational things County Durham should be proud of.
