The Prime Minister has today set out the next steps in the easing of lockdown. See the press conference at Youtube: Prime Minister's Coronavirus press conference (10 May 2021) for details.

Between 4.00pm on Wednesday 12 May and 7.30am on Thursday 13 May, the following systems will be unavailable due to essential maintenance: our online council tax, business rates and housing benefit overpayments service, our welfare assistance form and our test and trace payments form. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Changes to bus timetables and routes

Bus companies are running revised timetables due to Covid-19.

Bus operators are increasing many services from Saturday 10 April 2021 as non-essential businesses re-open. Information on service changes for each bus operator is provided here. Please note that all services will continue to be monitored in line with demand and ongoing advice from the government and public health bodies.

Please only use public transport if necessary. If you have any concerns about travelling on buses, please contact the relevant bus operator.

Note that is is mandatory to wear a face covering (unless exempt) when using public transport in England. See our Latest Covid-19 travel advice page for advice about face coverings.
