Ongoing review of the Local Offer

We want to make our Local Offer right for you! We are continually working with local partners, parents, carers children and young people to develop the Local Offer. Find out what we have done so far on our You said, we did page.

High Needs Block funding for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Inclusion Support

Around one in six children and young people in County Durham have special educational needs or a disability (SEND) and some young people need extra support to stay in education. We wanted your views on how we spend our money to help them.

The consultation closed on 17 October 2019. The results and findings of the consultation will be considered by Cabinet in January 2020. We will then share the results and next key steps with all of our partners.

Find out more on our Consultation on support for SEND and young people who need support to stay in education page.

Integrated Children's Therapies feedback report

From April 2018, children, young people their parents/carers and involved schools were asked about their experiences of accessing Children's Therapy services (0-19 years) and the way they are delivered.

You can find a copy of the Engagement Feedback Report on NHS Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield: Previous projects and consultations.
