Think Autism in County Durham Strategy
The Think Autism strategy is a local strategy for children, young people and adults on the autism spectrum. It provides focus and clarity on the priorities for improving services and opportunities for these people and to improve support during the transition from childhood through to adulthood.
It aims to ensure children, young people and adults in County Durham who are on the autism spectrum live fulfilling and rewarding lives within a society that accepts and understands them.
The strategy was prepared jointly by public services and voluntary and community services who work together to improve outcomes for people on the autism spectrum.
