The Prime Minister has today set out the next steps in the easing of lockdown. See the press conference at Youtube: Prime Minister's Coronavirus press conference (10 May 2021) for details.

Between 4.00pm on Wednesday 12 May and 7.30am on Thursday 13 May, the following systems will be unavailable due to essential maintenance: our online council tax, business rates and housing benefit overpayments service, our welfare assistance form and our test and trace payments form. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Sexual health

Sexual health covers the advice and services that are provided around contraception, relationships, sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy decision making.

We work hard with our partners and other services to:

  • reduce the stigma and prejudice that is often associated with sexual health
  • to help reduce the rate of STIs - some STIs can cause infertility and others can be passed to the baby in the womb or at birth
  • reduce unwanted pregnancies
  • support women to make informed decisions

Services available

County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (Sexual Health Services) provide our sexual health services across County Durham, and they will be happy to help you with any questions or issues you have.
