South Durham CLLD Local Action Group (LAG)
Find out about the South Durham CLLD LAG, what they do and who they are.
The South Durham CLLD Local Action Group (LAG) meets regularly to oversee the development and implementation of the CLLD programme. LAG Board membership will allow representatives to be actively involved in being responsible for setting the strategic direction of the programme, monitoring activity against the LDS, managing the approval process of applications and procuring strategic projects. The LAG will approve funding levels, outputs, timescales and any conditions on project proposals.
This LAG will make decisions based on assessing a projects:
- eligibility
- fit with national and local priorities
- need and demand (for the project and public funding)
- value for money
- deliverability and sustainability
LAG membership
The LAG is made up of private and public representatives and each member represents an interest in one of the five CLLD priorities as well as one or more of the geographic areas covered by South Durham CLLD.
