Management, leadership and employee development

Training in this area can add value to your business by enabling teams to deliver better quality products and services, build accountability, promote a culture of excellence, improve workplace morale and help your staff to fulfil their potential.

Courses and workshops include leadership skills, mentoring and coaching skills, employee development, office software and Vocational Assessor Certificate.

Workplace health and safety

Health and safety training is essential to any business regardless of size or nature of work. It helps you meet your legal obligations, outlines best practice, promotes positive safety behaviour and attitudes in the workplace and can help avoid distress, ill-health and absence caused by workplace accidents.

Courses and workshops include Health and Safety in the Workplace Level 2, Food Safety Level 2, Principles of Risk Assessment Level 2, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Level 2 and Emergency First Aid at Work.

Work based learning and assessment (National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and knowledge-based qualifications)

Our experienced trainers / assessors will help you develop the skills and knowledge of your employees. Available in a range of subjects, these qualifications also provide your employees with formal accreditation of past experience in relevant areas of work.

Qualifications include Leadership and Management (Levels 2/3/5), Business and Administration (Levels 2/3/4), Customer Service (Levels 2/3), Mentoring Skills (Level 2), Assessing Vocational Achievement (Level 3) and Equality and Diversity for the Workplace (Level 2).

High street business support

In conjunction with Community Economic Development we are offering a series of high street business support sessions which will take place virtually during the end of 2020 and into 2021, and cover topics including Digital Media in Business, Excellent Customer Service, Emergency First Aid and Food Safety in Catering. Training events are delivered at our venues or can be delivered at a suitable venue on site as part of a work-based learning and assessment package.
