BILLETS June. 5 (midnight) until 9.30pm 9th June After relief by 2nd Bn The Sherwood Foresters we went into huts about 2 miles West of Ypres.
TRENCHES near POTIJZE. 9.30pm. 9 June to midnight 17 June. This Section extended on our right from a point 200 yds. North of the VERLORENHOER ROAD to a point 250 yds. south of WIELTJE on our left. Extent of front 700 yds: two Co[mpan]ys in fire trench, two in Support: fire trench marked A7. A8. Support trench S.7 S8 held by CAPT CODDINGTONS CO[MPAN]Y. CAPT TURNERS CO[MPAN]Y and LT BEARTS CAPT BOWERS CO[MPAN]YS respectively. Casualties – mostly from shell fire. LT W.B. MORTIMER And 6 O[ther]. R[anks] killed, 45 O[ther]. R[anks] wounded.
