Jimmy's Life with The Durham Light Infantry

Details from Frances Durham's Birth Certificate

Frances Durham was born on 28 August 1910 at 16 May Street, Bishop Auckland, and her birth was registered by her mother, Jane, on 1 October 1910.

Frances' father is recorded as James Francis Durham, a 'Bandsman 2nd Durham Light Infantry'. Although Jimmy had died three weeks earlier, on 8 August, he is not shown as deceased.

Frances' mother is shown as Jane Durham, formerly Green.
