Day tickets for the new Durham Park and Ride service can be purchased from any of the sites for only £1.70 and each ticket can be used for an unlimited period throughout the day on any of our services, (even enabling visitors to hop on and off for the Botanic Gardens and have unlimited use of the Cathedral Bus).
Simply turn up and park your car free (for users of Park & Ride bus service), then buy your ticket at one of our easy-to-use payment machines with coins, notes or a credit or debit card by following the on-screen instructions.
The payment machines will issue a bus ticket with the date clearly shown at the head of the ticket. Simply show the bus driver the ticket head when boarding the bus and proceed to one of the 30 seats.
Assistance Provided
If you experience any problems using the machine, help is always at hand. There is an operator's office for personal assistance at the Belmont site, whilst the machines at Sniperley and Howlands are linked to the office with a system that allows you to see and talk to an operator.More Great Savings
