Who runs Park House?

Park House is run by Durham County Council in partnership with Nomad Housing Association. The staff are recruited and employed by Durham County Council's Children and Young People's Safeguarding and specialist services.

Who works here?

The current staff team consists of:

• 1 Manager
• 1 Assistant Manager
• 4 Senior Residential Workers
• 14 Residential Workers
• 1 Admin Worker
• 1 Handyman
• 2 Domestic Assistants
• 2 Cooks

They are all used to working with disabled young people. Some are nursery nurses, nurse-trained workers and social workers all residential workers have or are working towards NVQ 3 Childcare or equivalent. We regularly provide in-service training in good practice areas.
