Found along major watercourses

River banks, shingle.

Requirements

Wet sites.

Recommendations

A fast growing large shrub suitable for planting along watercourses, particularly major rivers, but not for more general planting.

Origins/Provenance

The existing population is wild. Use plants of local provenance. Where possible use cuttings from the same river catchment.
