Arriva
All Arriva bus services are operating as normal during Lumiere. Additional journeys will be provided on Arriva service 7 and extra buses on service 6 during this event. Up to date information on Arriva services is available at Arriva North East.
Go North East
Go North East services will not be operating due to industrial action.
Bus routes and stops affected by road closures
Claypath
No vehicle access (between Providence Row and Millenium Square) from 2.00pm each day. Bus services will not serve Clayport - Millenium Place stops.
Clayport - Millenium Place (Outbound) closed from 2.00pm
- 40A - no service after 1.00pm
- 65, 204, 204A, X62, 64 will operate from Millburngate Bridge from 2.00pm
Clayport - Millenium Place (Inbound) closed from 2.00pm
- 64, 65, 204, 204A, X62 will operate from Leazes Underpass Stand B from 2.00pm
Market Place
No vehicle access between the Market Place and Palace Green from 1.00pm each day
- Cathedral Bus 40, 40A will operate until 1.00pm
Park and Ride Services
Trains
If you're coming from further afield, you can catch regular trains to and from Durham. See National Rail for more information.
Taxis
You'll be able to get a taxi from Old Elvet or to the rear of the Durham Bus Station (New bus station concourse, access via North Road).
