Durham Studies
Durham Studies provides access to and advice on the cultural heritage of County Durham. Along with the County Record Office, we are your first point of contact for enquiries about archaeology and local studies. Durham Studies allows you to find out more about County Durham from earliest times to the present day.
We provide museums, library information, archaeological services, exhibitions and advice. County Durham's museums provide great family days out and high quality interpretation. All are accessible to visitors with disabilities. We help to answer enquiries from residents of the county, visitors, and people all over the world who have an interest in the heritage of the 'Land of the Prince Bishops'.
