Bus Lanes

Signs are located on entry to bus lanes showing which vehicles are allowed to use them. Only the vehicles shown on the signs may use the bus lane during the hours indicated on the sign.

If a non permitted vehicle drives or stops in a bus lane during the hours indicated on the sign they may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) if parked within Durham district or a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN) if parked elsewhere in County Durham.
