Melbeck Drive, Ouston - Proposed Traffic Calming

In the interests of public safety, County Councillor Colin Carr is promoting a scheme to introduce traffic calming on Melbeck Drive. The proposed scheme will comprise of five single length speed humps each 3,5m in length, 2m in width and 75mm high together with the appropriate advanced warning signs. The aim of the scheme is to maintain lower traffic speeds and generally promote road safety in the area. Construction of these humps will not prohibit parking outside of the affected properties.
