Write to Sam

Sam is Durham County Council’s safer, greener, fitter mascot. He regularly visits schools to talk to pupils about walking and cycling. Sam has been invited to many primary schools across County Durham.

Following an assembly at Leadgate Infants School, pupils wrote to Sam to tell him how much they enjoyed his visit. Pupils from Crook Primary School also wrote to Sam after he launched a Walk to School event at their school
