Personal Travel Planning

A Personal Travel Plan provides advice on how to travel from one location to another. Usually we offer assistance to people wishing to plan their journey to work, although other journey plans are available on request.

Personal Travel Plans also aim to reduce the amount we travel, for example, by using local shops and services whenever possible. The use of local facilities helps to support the local economy and builds a sense of community.

The Travel Plan Team is pleased to offer free personalised travel plans to people who live in County Durham. We may also be able to provide information, in collaboration with colleagues in neighboring authorities, for those people who live outside County Durham but travel here to work.
