Contaminated Food - Sudan 1 Product List
The Food Standards Agency is still advising people not to eat foods that have been inadvertently contaminated with an illegal dye, Sudan 1. This dye was in a batch of chilli powder used by Premier Foods to manufacture a Worcester sauce, which was then used as an ingredient in a wide range of products. The lists are being updated regularly on the Food Standards Agency Website - Food Standards Agency.
We have consolidated the lists to help our local businesses and consumers. The file is attached below in pdf format. For more information contact Durham Trading Standards on 0191 3833589.
