What is Social Care Direct?

Social Care Direct is a dedicated team of officers who are your first point of contact if you feel you need help from Social Care and Health.

What happens when I contact Social Care Direct?

When you contact us you will speak to a trained contact officer. They will ask you questions about your situation. We will decide whether we are able to help you. If this is the case we will arrange for you to have an assessment of your needs. If we are unable to help you we will advise you if there are other sources of help available.

Opening Hours

Social Care Direct is open from 8.00am until 8.00pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday morning from 9.00am until 1.00pm.
