General Information
Glendale House was built in 1983 and is situated within the heart of an old mining community and is close to the local amenities. It offers a more personalised care developed through small group living units.In total Glendale caters for 33 residents and is split into three units, each unit caters for up to 12 people, with lounge/dining rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and toilets, all within easy access even for those with limited mobility. Each unit is staffed by trained and highly motivated people who provide 24 hour care and whose role it is to maintain dignity, respect and cater for individual needs at all times.
Glendale also include day care, short stay, overnight stay facilities for visitors, social activities, choice menu and hairdressing. Domiciliary services include a dentist, optician and free chiropody.
