School visits to France and Germany

International Relations organises a series of school visits to France and Germany every year. These are offered to both primary and secondary schools. Typically they involve a group of 35-45 pupils spending 5-6 days in another country, where they stay as a group in a youth centre and participate in a number of activities, some cultural, some linguistic, some fun.

The itinerary for these trips is very flexible, and schools can plan their own visits, however, we offer a booking service for various reservations and excursions. We also plan travel, accommodation and meals, organise insurance and help co-ordinate collective passports.

As well as sending out relevant paperwork to all Durham schools each year, we post details of these trips on the schools’ Extranet, along with relevant documents and information. If you would like to speak to somebody here, then contact International Relations. We are happy to come to your school to discuss these trips or to host a meeting for parents or pupils.
