Children and Young People's Services Business Plan 2007/10

The publication of the CYPS Business Plan marks a major turning point in how services are and will be delivered to the children and young people of County Durham. The County Council is establishing an integrated Children's Services Authority and, within that, the prime plan is the Children and Young People's Plan - the single, strategic over-arching plan for children and young people. The Business Plan is the Operational Plan of those elements of the new Service previously within the former Education Service and Social Care and Health Children's Services. It should be regarded, therefore, as complementary to the Children and Young People's Plan.

The plan details our mission and vision statements and also our priorities to support the Children and Young People's Plan and to support the mission of the County Council, which is:

"To make County Durham the best place in which to live, work and bring up a family."
