SEN Placement and Provision

SEN Placement and Provision provide the administrative support for children undergoing statutory assessment. We have responsibility for determining the outcomes of statutory assessment and review including:
  • Issuing Statements of Special Educational Needs or Notes in Lieu
  • Determining the appropriate school and levels of support

The teams also deal with SEN referrals and admissions to all early years/school settings, both mainstream and special. We also provide advice and guidance on disability discrimination and accessibility.

The service is organised around the Communities of Learning structures, for whom we provide advice, guidance and administrative support.
