Examination Certificates
Requests for Replacement Exam Certificates
The following pages contain details about how to obtain replacements for exam certificates if you have lost the original or it has been damaged. You may need these to show proof of your qualifications when you are starting a new job, entering a new educational establishment or joining a professional organisation.Your first enquiry should be to the school where you sat the exam. If this was fairly recently, your school may still have the original certificate. If, however, you sat the exam a long time ago then the school may no longer have your records, but will be able to give you the name of the board which set the exam. It is this exam board, or its successor if it has since merged, that you need to approach next. A full list of current boards and their predecessors is available.
