Under 5's Road Safety Resources Catalogue Cover

Resources

Durham County Council is dedicated to reducing road casualties amongst all road user groups. As children grow they become more independent, wanting to walk and cycle on their own and eventually, to become drivers. So, it is very important that we start road safety education at a very young age.

To do this, we provide a vast range of education resources aimed at all children, from pre-school to final year in secondary school. We have provided each playgroup, Junior and Primary School, and Secondary School with its own catalogue.

Teachers can order and keep, Free teaching resources through the catalogue system.

Our 'free to keep' items include: Work books; Highway Code for Children; posters; leaflets; classroom wall charts; teachers guidance notes; colouring sheets; jigsaw puzzles; cycling activities books and much, much more.

Our 'on loan' items include; model car seat belt demonstrators; electronic pelican and toucan crossings; zebra crossings and Belisha beacons; road layouts; miniature road signs; and more...
