Our Promise to You
- When you visit any of our offices, our staff will be polite and courteous.
- When you visit any of our offices, you will be interviewed in private.
- The information you give us will be treated in the strictest confidence.
- We will explain what can be quite complex rules and regulations and answer any questions you may have.
- If you telephone during office hours, we will answer the call within 30 seconds.
- If you visit any of our offices, we will see you as soon as possible. Our aim is that no one has to wait more than 10 minutes.
- We will encourage customer feedback, suggestions and actively work to seek resolution of complaints within agreed timescales
- We will seek to offer appointments for all registration service activities within the agreed national standards for registering births and deaths and giving notice of marriage and civil partnerships.
- We will issue certified copies of registration service certificates within 5 days.
