The office is situated in a terrace of commercial and residential properties near the centre of this beautiful old market town in the heart of scenic Teesdale. The front entrance of the building is accessed via steps however an alternative access is available at the side of the building for those for whom the stepped access may be problematical. Disabled WC facilities are available.

The ceremony room has seating for 35 guests and parking is available in the car park opposite. Prior arrangements are made for the Bridal cars to pull up at the front door to allow the bridal party to alight.

The ceremony room is decorated in reds, creams and gold with complementary framed prints and silk floral decorations.

There is a public park approximately 200 yards away for photographs or many bridal parties may choose to travel a short distance to have photographs taken in the grounds of The Bowes Museum by prior arrangement.

Ceremonies are held between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday and 9.30am and 12.30 pm Saturdays. Ceremony times are also available outside of these hours by prior arrangement for which an additional fee will apply.
