Rights of Way Improvement Plan
We are delighted to announce the launch of The Rights of Way Improvement Plan (ROWIP) for County Durham 2007-2011. The Plan offers Durham County Council and its partners the opportunity to deliver an access network fit for the 21st century. The ROWIP will be at the core of the work we do to enhance and protect the access and rights of way network.
The ROWIP includes an Action Plan which sets out how the County Council intends to manage and improve the access and rights of way network. We will work with the Local Access Forum to prioritise the actions and create annual work programmes to deliver improvements.
The Plan is currently available as a pdf (this is a large file which may take a while to download) and will be available on CD, paper and as a summary document.
