The Minerals & Waste Development Framework Key Issues Paper

The MWDF Key Issues Paper was published on 31 January 2005. Consultation lasted until 14 March 2005. The Key Issues Paper sought comment on 20 key issues relating to the preparation of the MWDF and also invited the minerals industry to submit proposals for new sites/extensions to be considered as possible allocations in the Minerals Site Allocations Development Plan Document, (DPD).

Responses to the MWDF Key Issues Paper

In May 2005 we published a document which compiled the consultee responses received. This has been republished below.

Please note the response document does not currently include any details of late responses received after May 16 2005. It is our intention that this document will be revised and an updated response document will be published on this web page in due course.

Please also note that we also received a number of submissions and other correspondence requesting that new sites/extensions to existing sites be considered through the MWDF. It has not been possible to publish this information electronically. However, all submissions and other correspondence is available for inspection on request at County Hall, Durham.
