Minerals Issues & Options Report
Consultation on the Minerals Issues and Options Report
This document sets for out for consultation a range of important issues and options relating to minerals planning in County Durham. It also discusses the future approach that should be taken to new and existing sites for minerals development. We need to consider a number of new sites and extensions to existing sites which have been put forward by the minerals industry. Please note that this is purely a consultation stage.. The sites which are included within the Issues and Options Report are not County Council proposals. They have been put forward by the minerals industry. We have to consult upon them as part of the preparation of the Framework. Nothing has been decided at this point.
