Annual Monitoring Report

The Planning & Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 requires the County Council to prepare an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR).

The County Council's 3rd AMR was submitted to the Government Office North East (GONE) in December 2007 and is now available for download below. The AMR relates to the financial year 1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007. The AMR:

• Indicates progress on the implementation of the County Durham Minerals & Waste Development Scheme (MWDS) against the milestones contained within the scheme and notes whether any adjustments to the scheme are considered necessary; and
• Assess the extent to which the saved policies of the adopted Minerals and Waste Local Plans are being achieved over the period 1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007.
