Beamish Burn

The mature woodland setting of the Beamish Burn picnic site provides an ideal starting point for exploring the local countryside. There are paths within the site itself providing the basis of short woodland walks. These paths link in with the Rights of Way network allowing access to much of the Beamish Valley area. The site is situated a few kilometres north of Stanley. It has a field suitable for picnicking adjacent to the car park.
