Baybridge
This picnic area is situated on the northern banks of the River Derwent on the border between County Durham and Northumberland. Picnic tables and benches are dotted around the site. There is a pleasant riverside path linking Baybridge with the village of Blanchland approximately 1km (0.6 mile) downstream. This path continues for approx 2.5km (1.5 miles) to Carricks Picnic Area at the head of the Derwent Reservoir.
