Location and Access

Sedgefield Library is situated opposite St Edmunds church, next to the Parish Hall. It offers a variety of services, events and facilities for you and your family to enjoy. We are wheelchair accessible, have supernova screen reading software and a large keyboard and have a hearing loop installed.

Transport and Travel

The nearest bus stop is outside the Black Lion pub. A public car park is available to the rear of the building.

A book club meets regularly the 3rd Wednesday in the month at 2.00pm - contact Sedgefield Library for further information.
Regular events for children during holidays.
Rhyme Time - stories, songs and rhymes for the under 5's held fortnightly on Wednesdays 10.00am - 11.00am.
Tickle Time - songs and rhymes for babies held fortnightly on Mondays 2.15pm - 3.00pm.
Toy Library and play and stay session held alternate Wednesdays 10.00am - 11.00am.
A Toddlers session is held once a fortnight on a Wednesday (term time only).
