Location and Access
Newton Aycliffe Library is situated between health centre and magistrates court and offers a wide range of services for you and your family to enjoy. Plans are currently under way for a new replacement library on the old Avenue School site. This will replace the present building, built in 1963, which is too small to meet the needs of the large population. Newton Aycliffe library has wheelchair access. Supernova screen reading software and a large keyboard are available.Transport and Travel
Free parking is available behind the library.

Library Time activity sessions every Thursday at 10.30am for under 5's and their carers.Regular children's activities include reading groups and holiday crafts - ask staff for more information
